Caruth-Hale Funeral Home has been a pillar in this community, serving the families of Garland County for nearly a century. Three generations of the Hale family have actively engaged in leading this local, family-owned business. It is our hope that you get to know us and come to view our family as part of your own.
We believe in the sanctity of life. It is this inherent virtue that drives us to exceed the boundaries of the “status quo” and honor your loved one in ways that you never thought possible. We find our deepest fulfillment in the discernment and meeting of needs that grieving families don’t even realize they have.
Our ownership is completely committed to providing our staff with the most cutting edge technology in order to provide personalized services that honor and heal. The investment in the best tools available to honor life has resulted in some of the most memorable and unique funerals this area has ever seen.
In 2006, the National Funeral Directors Association honored Caruth-Hale as an inaugural member to its highest award: the Hall of Excellence. As the highest award in funeral service, this recognition is a testament to Caruth-Hale’s dedication to professionalism, training, innovation, and excellence. Further, Caruth-Hale’s place as an inaugural honoree means that we set the standard for excellence for the entire industry. But our commitment does not stop there. Through research and conference with the leading experts on grief and the healing process, we continue to improve our services. When we serve your family, you can rest assured that you and your loved one are in the care of the best team in the country.
In addition to funeral service’s highest honor, Caruth-Hale has also been recognized by The Leaders Network for its corporate leadership. In 2004, The Leaders Network honored Caruth-Hale with a Leadership and Excellence Award for our efforts in advancing funeral service and good business practice.
While we are far from perfect, our family seeks to demonstrate to you why we are considered one of the best funeral homes in the country.
This program was developed to help the families we serve during the year to cope with the holidays. It is usually held the first Sunday in December at the Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel. The program consists of Christmas trees with a personalized ornament for each person who has died in that year.
The program features live music performed by our talented staff, as well as a message of comfort delivered by one of our very own ministers. At the conclusion of the service the ornaments are given to the family. All attending are invited to a reception in our family lounge that consists of hot foods, vegetable trays, homemade candies, punch, and more.
