Obituary for Walter T. Peterson

Walter T. Peterson, 81, of Hot Springs Village, passed away July 8, 2018. He was born February 12, 1937 in Washburn, Wisconsin to Sigurd and Lillian Peterson. Walter retired from Chrysler in Belvedere, Illinois, after 27 ½ years of dedicated service to the company.

Walter is predeceased by his parents and brother, Sigurd Peterson, Jr.

Loving survivors include his wife of 64 years, Judi Peterson; sons, Dale (Rhonda) Peterson, and Dan (Jamie) Peterson; daughter, Kim (Frank) Peters; brothers, Ray (Carol) Peterson and Leonard (Marilyn) Peterson; sister-in-law, Nancy Peterson; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Walter was a life time Eagle’s Member and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, at Caruth Village Funeral Home.

Walter’s burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Machesney Park, Illinois.

The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Lynn Cleveland, Dr. Lingyi Chen, Genesis Cancer Center of Hot Springs, St. Vincent’s Cardiologist Dr. Oyidie Igbokidi, Nurses at St. Vincent’s 5th Floor West; Brandi, Kayla and Jacqueline.
