Obituary for Kimberly Sanders

Kimberly Sanders, age 50, of Hot Springs, died on March 30, 2018.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Sanders; sons, Jake and Bailey; mother, Carolyn Holcomb; sister, Shannon Holcomb; and countless uncles and cousins that loved and cherished her.

Kimberly enjoyed a 20-year career as a Certified Radiology Technician, primarily in ultrasound. She took great pleasure in the outdoors, camping and deer hunting with her husband and boys. As a Daddy’s Girl, she enjoyed drag racing and vintage cars. Kimberly was an animal lover, especially her beloved Chihuahuas. As a child and young adult, horses, motorcycles, DeGray Lake, and Lambert Creek brought her endless hours of pleasure. She collected Elvis recordings and memorabilia and visited Graceland on several occasions. Friends and family will remember her as a loving confidant, loyal, trustworthy, selfless, and non-judgmental person. Her greatest pleasure of all was her devotion to her husband and children.

She was predeceased by her father, Larry Holcomb; and her grandparents, Clinton and Lee Edna Ivy and J.R. and Cora Holcomb.

A casual memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Elks Lodge, 132 Abbott Place off Section Line Road. All friends and relatives are welcomed to come honor Kimberly’s life.
