Obituary for Kenneth Meredith

Kenneth Ray Meredith, 68, of Hot Springs, went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 6, 2019. He was born on October 12, 1950 in Hot Springs to Eudell and Wilma (Bates) Meredith.
He was a 1968 graduate of Cutter Morning Star. Kenneth graduated from Henderson State University with a Bachelors in Business in 1972. He spent his career in the logging industry and especially loved driving the skidder. Kenneth finished his career at Buddy Bean Lumber Company.

He married the love of his life, Corita May on March 1, 1974. He was a lifetime member of First Pentecostal Church.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Kevin Lee; granddaughter, Drakelyn Avery Meredith; his father-in-law, Lewis May; and brother-in-law, Larry May.

He is survived by his wife, Corita; sons, Keith (Alicia), Steve (Tosha); grandchildren, Kaleb, Kenlee, and Kolt Meredith, Braxton Shifflett, Ireland and Sage Kane, and Drake Meredith; brothers, Donnie (Greta), James (Glenda), Norman (Julie); sister, Nita (Troy) Reynolds; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Stanley (Donna) May, Tony (Deena) May, Andrea Gillham, Bren May and his mother-in-law, Juanita May; and many nieces and nephews.

Kenny will be missed by all. He was one of a kind. He loved life and his family. He always had a smile on his face and a funny comment to make. He cherished his wife. They loved taking drives together in the country looking for deer and enjoyed spending time together.

He loved his boys dearly and molded them into the wonderful men they are today. His grandchildren had his heart and he loved to be with them. He could always be found cheering them on at all of their many activities.

Pallbearers will be his brothers and brothers-in-law. Honorary will be his grandchildren.
