Life Legacy


Wilma Jean (Henson) Coffman, 77, of Hot Springs, went to be with the Lord on January 18, 2013. She was born January 31, 1935 in Bismarck to Hollis and Nettie (Herrin) Holt. She was a member of Winan Missionary Baptist Church. Wilma was a devoted wife, homemaker and talented seamstress. She really enjoyed bowling and home shopping. Wilma Jean was loving and generous to everyone she knew. At gift giving time, no one ever left her home without a gift.

She is predeceased by her parents, first husband, Doyle Henson and brother, Cecil Holt.

Loving survivors include her husband of 32 years, Marlon Coffman, of Hot Springs; three daughters, Gayle Baker, of Hot Springs, Pamela Paquette, of Benton and Diana Griffith, of Hot Springs; sister, Meathol (Rob) Martin, of Bismarck; three sisters-in-law, Bettye Holt, of Bismarck, Sharon (Gene) Ennis, of Hot Springs and Twana Powell, of Royal; granddaughters, Wendi Green and Amber Griffith; grandsons, Tyler Paquette, Aaron Green, Curtis Floyd, Nathan Paquette and Larry Michael Griffith; and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday, January 21, 2013 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the funeral home with Pastor Ronnie Vanderslice officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

The family extends a special thank you to the staffs of National Park Medical Center, National Park Home Healthcare, Odyssey Hospice and Dr. Neeraj Bharany for the care given to their beloved Wilma Jean.

Pallbearers are Aaron Green, Nathan Paquette, Larry Michael Griffith, Billy Green, Danny Holt and Larry Looper.
