Donald Mack Owen, 65, of Lonsdale, Arkansas died Thursday, April 9, 2009. He was born in Sheridan, Arkansas on July 20, 1943 to Ira B. and Edna (McCaskill) Owen. He was a member of Smith Creek Missionary Baptist Church and was employed as a purchasing agent for a wholesale plumbing supplier.

Mack is preceded in death by his parents and his niece, Meegan Alexander.

He is survived by his wife, Lura (Lou) Rigsby Owen of Lonsdale, Arkansas; son Kirk Owen and wife Elizabeth of Springdale, Arkansas; daughter Kristi Lindabury and husband David of Farmington, Arkansas; brother V.E. (Pete) Owen and wife Linda of Fort Jones, California; along with a niece and a nephew.

Visitation will be from 3:00 5:00 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel. Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 13, 2009 at Smith Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Kim Hammer officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Creek Cemetery in Lonsdale, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will include Gary Roberts, Kenneth Scott, Michael Bolin, Roy Williams, Stephen Rigsby, and Dwane Rigsby.
