Life Legacy

Herman Eastlack, Jr., 89, Hot Springs, Arkansas, died Monday, December 19, 2011. He was born April 5, 1922 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to the late Herman and Etta Jones Eastlack. He retired from the Air Force, A Hero by no other means, and from Weyerhaueser Company in Mountain Pine. Herman was a life member of the VFW and a member of the Eagles. He was a man of few words who demonstrated his kind nature and was always there to support family and friends. He loved the outdoors and saw God in Nature.

Herman is preceded in death by his parents; wife of forty-nine and one-half years Peggy Diana Walsh Eastlack; son James Eastlack and four sisters.

He is survived by his son Gordon Allen Eastlack; daughter Mary Ann Goins; grandchildren Matthew Goins, Staff Sargent Andrew Goins and wife Staff Sargent Jessica Goins; Tabitha Goins Hamzy and husband Allen; great grandchildren Kadence Godwin, Kylee Goins, and Ethan Goins.

Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bob Clark officiating. Inurnment will be scheduled at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery.
