Edwin Howard Johnson, 64, of Jessieville, Arkansas, died Monday, December 19, 2011. He was born July 17, 1947 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the late William Edwin & Helen Lucille (White) Johnson. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving in Viet Nam, where he received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star medals. Survivors include his son, Christopher Edwin Johnson (Elizabeth) of Lafayette, LA; brother, Dave Johnson (Barbara) of Jessieville, AR; grandchildren, Avery & Caroline Johnson; and a nephew, Brad Johnson (Jennifer) of Metairie, LA. Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm Thursday at Caruth Village Funeral Home with funeral services starting at 6:00 pm with Bro. Roger Harper officiating.
