Life Legacy
Donna Zaorski-Plemel, 66, of Hot Springs Village died August 8, 2007 at a Hot Springs Hospital. Donna had been a Village resident for the past twelve years where she was active in the Red Hat Society, the HSV Garden Club, Village Lionesses, Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and the Sacred Heart Guild. She was currently employed by Curves of HSV where she had been honored as the 2006 Employee of the Year. Donna was well known for her love for people, entertaining and socializing.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. & Mrs. Robert Ufhiel; a sister: Sheila Szot; a brother: Robert Ufhiel and her first husband: Henry Hank Zaorski. Survivors include her husband: Bernie Plemel of Hot Springs Village; a daughter: Laura Bramlett and husband Barry of Tulsa, OK; two step-daughters: Teri Steinhaufel and husband Sid of Overland Park, KS and Kara Totaro and husband Jay of Brighton, MI; a brother: John Ufhiel and wife Patricia of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; two sisters: Frances Jean Swift and husband Robert of Washington, Iowa and Sharon Kikeman of Chicago, IL; a granddaughter: Brooke Bramlett; and two step-granddaughters: Ella and Ana Totaro.
Visitation will be Friday, August 10, 2007 from 5-8pm at Caruth Village Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 2pm, Saturday, August 11, 2007 at the funeral home with Father Alan Rosenau presiding. Burial will be in Windridge Cemetery in Cary, IL on Monday, August 13, 2007.
