Obituary for Shelly Swaim

Shelly Swaim went to be with Lord Jesus Christ on July 4, 2017. She was born September 26, 1964, to Milford and Charlene (Noles) Scott. Shelly was a loving wife to Teddy “Bear” Swaim. They were married October 29, 1994. They spent 22 years together married.

Shelly was a loving mother to Blake Swaim. He was her whole world; she loved him with everlasting love. Shelly will always be with him. She loved her beloved dog Mike, from the day she laid eyes on him.

Shelly loved flowers, her irises and roses. She worked for many years at Jessieville School District where she loved seeing all her kids there daily and being a part of their lives. Shelly was a valued employee who will be greatly missed.

Shelly was one of the five “Scott girls” and was loved unconditionally by her sisters who stood by her side: Donna Bean (Jerry), Reda Ray (Johnny), Freida Graves (Gary), and Callie Graves (Rudy).

Shelly was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, Jim Bell Swaim; and brother-in-law, Jerry Don Bean.

Shelly also leaves behind her mother-in-law, Ivy Swaim; brother-in-law, Travis Swaim (Amy); and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.

Shelly was loved by many family and friends and will be dearly missed by all. Shelly will always be in our hearts. She is walking hand-in-hand with Jesus on the streets of gold.
