Sanford A. Graham, 68, of Friendship, Arkansas, passed away March 15, 2017. He was born April 25, 1948, in Malvern, Arkansas, to Jessie Willard and Juanita (Rickman) Graham. Sanford was a U.S. Army Veteran and was proud to serve in the 1st Calvary Division during the Vietnam War. Sanford was a huge Razorback fan, avid hunter and fishermen, and was a good mentor to many men when they were younger. He took great delight being in the presence of his grandchildren.
Sanford was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jessie Graham; brother, Nathan “Buck” Graham; nephews, Patrick Graham, Joshua Patterson; and brother-in-law, Jon Patterson.
Survivors include his loving wife, Karen Graham; son, Sandy Ray Graham (Stacey); daughters, Crystal Cline (Sean), Scarlett Webb; brothers, Coleman Graham (Mary), Jessie Graham, Patrick Graham (Polly); sisters, Shirley Long, Kathy Swanson (Ron), Jan Goforth (Ron); thirteen grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends who loved him dearly.
A celebration of Sanford’s life will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Piney Grove United Methodist Church in Pearcy.
