Obituary for Mac Dunbar Fry

The greatest storyteller, Mac Dunbar Fry, 61, was relieved of his duties on this earth July 6, 2018. He was awaited in heaven by his dad, Elvin McCoy Fry, his two mothers, Zola Fry and Edith Fry, his two brothers Monty Fry and Glenn Fry, his best friend Greg Garrison, and his two furry companions Tom and Oreo. He is remembered and missed by his daughter Lindsey Morton, his son-in-law Jonathon Morton, the wife and love of his life Sheila Fry, his three sisters Patricia Fry- Norton, Coco Sharp, and Adell King and countless friends.

Mac was born on November 1, 1956. He was raised in Malvern, Arkansas and later moved to Hot Springs. Mac was an adventure-seeker, known for his big personality, his love for the Razorbacks, his strong work ethic, and his ability to tell great stories. Mac was always full of life and conversation. He loved to entertain people and make them laugh. Mac was a loyal friend, a hard worker, and a loving and supportive father and father-in-law. Above all things, Mac was a believer in the Lord. He shared a close and honest relationship with God.

His memory will be honored with a visitation on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home in Hot Springs.

A celebration of Mac’s life will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery.
