Obituary for Lou Grasso

Louis Grasso was born on September 15, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York to Anna and Louis Grasso. He is survived by his brothers, Angelo and Nick Grasso.

Lou was a beloved husband to his wife, Eileen, of 38 years; a caring Dad to his children, Richard, Elizabeth, Daniel, Jonathon, and Sasha; and a fun-loving Grandfather to Emily, Caroline, Alison, Alana, Genevieve, Antonio, Jacob, and Iain.

He had a varied career-life as a New York City police officer for 15 years; a corporate executive and, as he liked to say, his “final and most rewarding career as a Christian Missionary.”

Lou and Eileen retired to Hot Springs Village seven years ago. They are members of the Church family at Crossgate Church in Hot Springs.

Lou will be missed dearly and we will look forward to being together again – forever… in heaven.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to Special Olympics Arkansas (www.specialolympicsarkansas.org), the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org), and Joni and Friends (www.joniandfriends.org).

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Caruth Village Funeral Home with a celebration of Lou's life immediately following at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Shawn Barnard and Pastor Rob Young officiating.
