Obituary for Larry Melton Shaw

Larry Melton Shaw, 67, of Jessieville, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Sunday, June 18, 2017.

He was born March 6, 1950 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Freeman Melton & Elowe (Blocker) Shaw. Larry was the manager at Earl Gill Enterprises for over 40 years; he was a good, honest, Christian man who loved his family very much and will be missed by all.

Larry is preceded in death by his father Freeman Melton Shaw and his beloved wife of 44 years, Nona Shaw

He is survived by a son Richard Shaw; daughter Shannon Sharp (Sean); mother Elowe Blocker Shaw; wife Marcia Shaw; sister Lynn Davis (Jim); grand-daughter Brittany Bryan (Jordan) and a great grand-daughter Blakely Bryan.

Pallbearers are James Gill, Aaron Shaw, James Sorrels, Russell Fields, John Nation, and Donnie Merriott.

Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Earl Gill Coffee Company, Ron Shaw, Sean Sharp, Jim Davis, Elsie Smoke, Jordan Bryan, Paul Nation, Garry Cardwell, Ronnie & Nancy Sharp, Brett Merriott, Max Merriott, Dr. James Humphreys, and Central Arkansas Hospice.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday at the Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Bro. Tommy Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at New Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
