Obituary for Larry Earl Robertson

Larry Earl Robertson, 54, of Jessieville, passed away November 24, 2017. He was born April 16, 1963 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to James Earl and Mary Nell (Teal) Robertson. Larry was a mail carrier in the Fountain Lake and Jessieville areas for over 30 years. No deer was safe when he was in the woods with his rifle, and fish trembled when he approached a body of water. Larry was a faithful member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his father. Loving survivors include his mother; wife Traci Robertson; sons Danton Robertson (Mandy) and Hudson Robertson; sisters Teresa Harper (Roger) and Janis Bassett (Trey); granddaughter Elora Robertson, and one grandson on the way! As well as ¾ of North Garland County.

A visitation will be held from 5:00-7 ;00 p.m. Tuesday at Caruth Village Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, with Pastors Johnny Bratton and Will Doughty officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy and Justin Whiley, Tim Bratton, Chris and Sonny Robertson, and Alex Harper.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Byron, Darrel, Chance, and Gregory Doughty, Dennis Bates, Don Knowles, members of the Possum Kingdom Leadslingers Hunting Club, and the members of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at Rock Springs Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gideon’s International.
