Obituary for Kenneth Ray Diggs

Kenneth Ray Diggs, 83, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away February 4, 2018. He was born February 10, 1934, in Meyer Creek, Arkansas, to Martin Curtis and Lonetta (Kinsey) Diggs. Kenneth was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, woodworking, furniture making, and working with his vegetable garden and fruit trees. He also loved animals and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Georgia Diggs; brothers, Carl and Clyde Diggs; and son-in-law, Loyd Jenkins.

Survivors include his sons, Donnie Diggs (Linda), Bo Diggs (Diane); daughters, Brenda Chase (Raymond Baker), Marsha Jenkins; sisters, Marcille Acord, Mary Berry (Donnie); grandchildren, Justin Diggs (Misty), Whitleigh Wilhelmi (Jeremy), Nathan Diggs (Vanessa), Nolan Jenkins, Cristina Diggs, Sarah Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Beckett Wilhelmi, William Diggs, Jasper Wilhelmi, Ruth Diggs; and his beloved dog, Holly.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

A celebration of Kenneth’s life will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Wilhelmi officiating.

Burial will follow at Lowe Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Justin Diggs, Nathan Diggs, Nolan Jenkins, Mickey Diggs, Tony Diggs, and Clint Slaten.

Honorary pallbearers are Beckett Wilhelmi, William Diggs, and Jasper Wilhelmi.
