Obituary for Johnny Stephens

Johnny Stephens, 59, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away December 5, 2017. He was born September 23, 1958, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to Joseph Charles Stephens II and Alice Juanita Riales.

Johnny was preceded in death by his father; brother, Bobby Daughtry; and step-father, Art Riales.

Survivors include his mother; wife of 20 years, Sindi Stephens; sons, David Stephens, Elijah Stephens; daughters, Erycka Vassaur (Tyson), Emmalee Stephens; brothers, Joseph Charles Stephens III, Brian Woodruff, Jonathon Stephens (Katrina); sisters, Jana Tripodi (Lloyd), Margaret West (Waddy), Jenny Bassahm (Dale), Jeannie Jeres; grandchildren, Chad Barrentine, Rhilynn Castleberry, Noah Castleberry, Tristan Stephens, and Amber Stephens.

Johnny worked many years as a dialysis nurse and was an active member of the blues band, “The Brethren”. His love for music goes beyond words. Johnny put his heart and soul into his friends, family, patients, coworkers, and church members.

A celebration of Johnny’s life will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Fischer officiating.
