Jack Boyd, 79, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away April 5, 2017. He was born December 8, 1937, in Longview, Washington, to Raz and Hazel (Brown) Boyd. Jack was a U.S. Army and Navy veteran. He was a cowboy and enjoyed riding motorcycles.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; father in love, Logan Vines; sister, Geri Curtis; brother, Tommy Boyd; and son, John Ray Howard.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Geraldine Boyd; sons, Thomas Boyd, Pat Boyd (Tammy); daughters, Mary Livingston, Evelyn Ruiz, Karen Gatson; and sister, Margie Watson. Jack was loved by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of Jack’s life will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Medlock Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Pat Boyd, Logan Vines, Larry Sabourin, Ronnie Dunn, Tracy Watson, and Darrell Dunn.
Honorary pallbearers are Tom Boyd, Andrew Harvey, Hub Gaston, Arkansas Hospice, and the American Legion.
