She was the daughter of John Clinton Norman and Glennie Hunt Norman. She was a charter member of Hot Springs Baptist Church and a member of the Elizabeth Sunday School Class.

Glenna was pre-deceased in death by her mother and father, her mother-in-law and farther-in-law, Richard and Laura Ford, and by her husband of 58 years, Richard (Dick) C. She is survived by her daughters Karen Woodall (David) and Patti Cockrell (Shawn); one grandson, Cody Cockrell; brother and sister-in-law, Clovis and Jean Norman; nephew, Jimmy Norman (Susie); and niece, Cheryl Jackson (Larry).

Glenna graduated from Hot Springs High School and attended Henderson State University. She worked for AP&L/Entergy and the Hot Springs School District Administrative Office.

She loved her family time with her 2 girls and grandson. She enjoyed vacations, camping and boating with her family. After retiring, she and her husband bought a Honda Gold Wing motorcycle and traveled with friends to see all 48 states and Canada. Glenna loved her pets, especially her beloved poodle, Max. She loved watching and feeding the birds and especially the hummingbirds.

The family would like to give special thanks to Brenda Perez and her husband Wilbur and daughters Jennifer, Brenda & Rebecca of Loving Care Assisted Living, and Arkansas Hospice of Hot Springs. We are so thankful that God placed Brenda in our lives.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. Friday September 29, 2017, at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with a celebration of Glenna’s life immediately following at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Mike Smith officiating.
