Obituary for Doyle Lee Yarbrough

Doyle Lee Yarbrough, 82, of Pearcy, Arkansas, passed away October 13, 2017. He was born March 12, 1935, in Bismarck to Elmer Lee and Vervie (Wood) Yarbrough.

Doyle provided 25 years of dedication and service to the City of Hot Springs Fire Department. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Doyle loved to train bird dogs, raise cattle, and dabble in the stock market.

Doyle was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Pamela Dorsey; brothers, Gene, Jerry Don, and Cecil Yarbrough; and nephew, Gene Yarbrough Jr.

Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Roxanne Yarbrough of Pearcy; daughter, Patricia Parks (Doug Bates) of Hot Springs; sisters, Linda Fendley (Doug) of Bismarck; Sherry Miller (David) of Hot Springs; grandchildren, Joe Lingo, Brian Lingo, Amanda Bates; four great-grandchildren; and numerous extended grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

A celebration of Doyle’s life will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Church of Christ in Bismarck with Doug Fendley officiating.

Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bismarck.

Pallbearers include Joe Lingo, Brian Lingo, Ethen Lingo, Dale Fendley, Nelson Yarbrough, and Michael Belleno.

Honorary pallbearers are A.J. Bond, George Callahan, and retired Hot Springs Firefighters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
