Obituary for Betty Lou Adams

Betty Lou Adams, 87, of Hot Springs, went to be with the Lord on August 31, 2018. She was born August 17, 1931 in Owensville to Fred and Bertie Garner. Betty attended Morning Star United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning vegetables, traveling and cruising to see the world.

She is predeceased by her parents, husband, Velpo Adams, son, Gary Adams, brothers, Pete Garner and Joe Bob Garner, and sister, Joyce West.

Loving survivors include her brother, David Garner and his wife, Bonnie, of Hot Springs; brother-in-law, Richard West; sister-in-law, Edna Garner; many nieces and nephew.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2018 with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Morning Star Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Arkansas Hospice and Caregiver Tim Ferguson and Staff for their wonderful care of Betty.
