Obituary for Ann Kertgen

Ann Kertgen, 90 of Hot Springs Village passed away June 1, 2018. She was born in Fivizzano, Italy on July 27, 1927 to Pasquale and Armida Marie Tonelli.

She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Anthony Ferina; second husband, Leo Kertgen; son, Michael Ferina; daughter, Regina Tonelli and sister, Rose Kolodkin. Survivors include her son, Richard Ferina (JoAnn) of Chicago; twin sister, Audrey Paolucci of Italy and sister, Rena Tonelli of California; and grandchildren, Cortney and Zachary Ferina; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Ann approached life with flare, fashion and style but with an extremely humble heart. She and her twin sister, Audrey modeled as “Tony Twins.” Ann achieved tremendous success in her business career. As a devout church member, Ann was always willing and able to help her family and many others.

Visitation will be held at Thursday, 4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. with Rosary recited at 5:00 p.m., at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Memorial Mass will be Friday at 10:00 a.m., at the church with Father Bill Elser officiating.
